The 2010 FIFA World Cup Organising Committee South Africa (OC) will be holding an update press conference on Thursday morning, 4 September 2008, with regard to the ongoing preparations for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. This includes the successful conclusion of the Volunteer Application process for the FIFA Confederations Cup 2009, the OC's recent learning trip to the Beijing 2008 Olympics and an announcement with regard to recent senior appointments at the 2010 Organising Committee.
