Tuks FM warms up the capital
Tuks FM 107.2 in collaboration with Montana Family Market will be hosting a charity drive concert in a bid to warm up those less fortunate within the capital.

The concept involves members of the community attending the concert and bringing with them old items that can be donated to charity.

Renowned for their excellent efforts in charity work, Tuks FM is taking Caring for the Capital to the next level this year. Following the success of last year's Blanket Drive, Tuks FM has decided to kick off 2008's charity work by warding off the winter chill for three separate charities. Taking place from 17th May to the 18th of May, Tuks FM has planned a charity drive concert at Montana Family Market that aims to collect old clothing, and blankets for each charity. The concert will see well known local talents performing in aide of the drive such as Klopjag, Jo Ef, Straatligkinders, The Paradigm and many more.

On the 16th before the main event, Tuks FM will be taking part in a breakfast run in order to create further awareness of the drive. This event entails encouraging people to bring their old clothes and blankets to the following busy intersections in traffic in exchange for a breakfast roll: Menlyn and Hatfield. Tuks FM is confident that the community's natural goodwill is going to pull through and show immense support for the less fortunate people this winter.

Tuks FM firmly believes that it is their duty to make every possible effort in caring for our capital. This is just the first step of many in what hopes to be a great year of giving back to the community!
