Clinical Trainer/Facilitator

Northern Suburbs based Private Hospital is offering a position for a Registered Nurse who will have previous experience in Training/ Facilitating or Assessing. You would be responsible for Clinical Teaching/ Training, Assessing, managing records of all students etc.
Salary Negotiable and based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
Registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse
Post Matric Qualification in Nursing Education preferable
Clinical teaching experience
Minimum 5 years Clinical Nursing experience
Knowledge of Employment Equity Stats
Qualified and Registered Assessor ( advantage)
Computer Literacy ( Word, Excel and Power Point

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (includes the following but not limited to)
Practical training of all students and nursing staff in the Specialized Units eg. Trauma and I.C.U
Orientation of all new students
Active in planning and presenting in service education and quality improvement in the hospital
Improving and maintaining excellent Nursing care standards in the hospital
Responsible for all Clinical documentation audit of Nursing care
Responsible for all clinical facilitation duties in all Specialized Units
Clinical Education and training including fostering theory application to practical demonstration
Ability to assess students competency levels
In- Service training of existing staff
Managing of record keeping of all student hours and training
