The Pan African Health Congress, that took place on 18 - 19 September in Sandton, Johannesburg, is a first-world business-to-business event - facilitating the trade and transfer of world-class medical products, technologies and solutions in a developing world environment. Drawing on the lessons and successes of 2006, the 2007 congress had a strong focus on enabling and facilitating B2B networking, going so far as to actively serve as matchmaker between parties representing the continent's health ministries; NGOs; procurement and funding agencies; and the local and global private sectors and private service providers.
