The 3rd Annual Combating Terrorism in Africa Conference

The 3rd Annual Combating Terrorism in Africa Conference will create a platform for Africa's defence force, government populace and non-government organisations to dissect and foresee future strategies to combat further spread of terrorism. The conference takes place from 26-28 August 2008.

The spread of terrorism in Africa is becoming a frightening reality, with socio-economic pressures, lack of sturdy security intelligence forces, minimum collaboration from African governments and territorial gain are just some of the contributing factors to the spread of terrorism in Africa.

As part of the African continent you are constantly looking for ways to reduce the spread of terrorism across your borders. Various religious radicals, political instability, socio-economic pressures and territorial gain are some of your frightening factors contributing to the spread of terrorism.

This conference will provide you with the latest strategies African countries are taking to alleviate the spread of terrorism and how they are working together to create a more peaceful Africa.
