Grind set up its four-meter mobile coffee bar in a marquee in the middle of the festival camp site. The resultant Kruispad Café aimed to draw festival goers to the magazine's stand, a goal which was certainly achieved. Over 1 000 cups of coffee were served up by Grind's professional baristas, who were no doubt drinking cups of their own brew on the side to give them the boost needed to keep up with the demanding 8:30am to 11pm serving schedule.
