Alpine provides solace from the bracing wintry chill outside. The ambient lighting imitates lapping flames as these hues dance on the architectural elements, creating a mottled effect. Textured monoliths and timber frames merge with effervescent lighting to create the ambience of Alpine.
Creating an almost invisible wall of wooden angular blocks, the east/west timber façades contrast with north/south façades of slick, clean, polished grey surfaces. This chic Scandinavian minimalist décor is also expressed in the introduction of Zen tables which evoke clean architectural lines of streamlined simplicity.
In terms of cuisine, the Alpine Restaurant boasts an Indo-Scandinavian fusion menu of delectable spicy, eastern rub-infused fire roasts and piping hot fruit- and vegetable bakes, followed by exquisite dark chocolate gâteaux with succulent, luscious island berries - all served entertainment-style.
In spite of the faded music and the cessation of bar service, guests loiter in this mellowed setting, networking and engaging in riveting conversation.
