The latest Audit Bureau of Circulation figures for magazines have established an undisputed leader in the world of local commercial vehicle media.
Bakkie & Truck Action magazine was already the strongest selling title dedicated to commercial vehicles a year ago, but the latest ABC figures now establish that high quality title is by far the most effective in its market by a considerable margin. Showing year-on-year growth of some 48% to set it way apart at an officially audited circulation of 11212, Bakkie & Truck Action has come, seen and conquered the commercial vehicle magazine sector.
“We’re delighted with the growth we have achieved in Bakkie & Truck Action over the past twelve months,” Publisher Michele Lupini said. “There are a few contributing factors to this great success – mainly our improved distribution through NND, trucking guru Pierre Sanson taking over the reins as Truck Editor and Jesse Adams’ similar role on the Bakkie side.”
These latest ABC figures prove beyond any reasonable doubt that there is a definite leader in the commercial vehicle market in South Africa,” Lupini added. “We now offer double the circulation of our nearest rival in this sector.”
“Other traditional truck titles simply post most every magazine they print to a set mailing list and have fairly good ABCs off that,” Lupini pointed out. “We send a similar amount of magazines than they do to a mailing list of specifically targeted commercial vehicle fleet owners and the like too, but then we sell well over 7000 copies off the bookshelf over and above that...”
